I am one who generally keeps myself pretty busy and am always wondering how to squeeze out a little more to do a little more. I needed to read this article. My guess is that many of you need to read it too.

Thanks for the link. I saw Justin Taylor mention it last week, but didn't read the full post until I saw your recommendation. Some good thoughts in there.
On Saturday, I listened to a sermon by Alexander Strauch who said, "Busyness is a modern idolatry." I don't exactly know how to avoid busyness. It is both a blessing and curse of ministry. I think it will be a life-long struggle, but it is a good caution and heart check to learn to say 'no' to things (even when people resent it) and not to feel guilty all the time about what I am NOT doing.
I love DeYoung's last line: "the secret of the gospel is that we actually do more when we hear less about all we need to do for God and hear more about all that God has already done for us."
