Here’s what the world needs:  Two moderate-liberal politicians starting a new Baptist denomination.  They promise to openly debate most everything.  I’m happy that these pluralistic brethren are doing this.  Perhaps the more moderate and liberal voices in the SBC will distance themselves from the SBC since they won’t actually embrace a more biblical view. I have had a few interesting conversations this week about appropriate and inappropriate language by pastors and teachers – any Christian for that matter.  This past Monday, a professor I was listening to had a number of choice terms that bothered a number of “botherable” brethren.  Today I had a conversation with a brother about the use of what many find to be offensive terms.  And then I see this note about Pastor Piper’s passionate inappropriateness.
