Just made it home from a very productive planning retreat-no Twitter and hardly any e-mail or phone for 2 days. No wonder it was productive. # Getting my mind around the day-preparing my heart. Looking forward to the fellowship. # Great morning with the saints, great lunch and nap with the fam. Time to plan the week and prep for tonight’s sermon on Zephaniah. # Home from an evening of worship and fellowship. Had an ice cream fellowship afterwards: one of the joys of Sunday nights in the summer. # Enjoying a quiet morning thinking through the word-praying through its implications. # Had a wonderful night out with Kel, relaxing and great conversation-very blessed man I am. # Up to read the word, pray through it and begin reading Richard Dibbes, “The Bruised Reed.” # Wonderful dinner in Beaumont with some of Kel’s family. Now to put members of my family to bed soon. # Just ran through the headlines and now ready to think on the subject of Baptism for tonight’s Baptist Theology class. # Up to pray, read some Sibbes and then head to the office for what looks to be a full and demanding day of ministry. Bring it on! # Just finished a really long, fruitful and draining day of ministry. I’m very ready for a day off tomorrow. # Dad’s day out with the girls. Should be more fun than I can imagine. # Had a great time at the aquatic center with Brie and Mya then a happy meal at McD’s. Now we’re all down for a nap. Perfect. # Powered by Twitter...

Waiting for an appt.-looks like a no-show-then off for a day of foster parenting training. Have to have 15 hours a year-finished today. # At a training for foster parent certification hours. All day event. One saving grace, we will have all our hours finished for the year. # Just made it home from our foster training day. Nice to be done not only with today’s class, but the year’s required training hours. # Pushing along a sluggish heart and mind, thankful for and relying upon His grace. # RT @JohnPiper: 40 years ago today THE MOON WAS ADDED TO ALL THINGS. “You have put all things under his feet” (Psalms 8:6). # Time to think through 2 Chronicles and pray. A lot to do this week and little time it seems to accomplish it-I need this time to refocus. # Headed to the gym: clear the head, hurt the body. What better way to begin the week? # Lively and stimulating discussion in our Pastors’ Council meeting this am. Now lunch and Meet the Press -more fun than you can imagine. # e-mail and phone calls. Catching up from the weekend. # Made it home to have a fun Skype call with the Estradas, a yummy dinner with my ladies, then a little progress on the gate-this day is done. # Up to read, pray and prep for MIT Baptist Theology class-a great way to begin the day. # At the office taking calls, doing paper work working on ministry projects. # Lot’s to do today-getting an early start. Better start by setting my mind on things above....

Checking the headlines and then to prayer-lots of prep work for tomorrow to do today. # Headed to the gym for some cardio-desperately need to get the blood pumping this morning. # What? My 24 hour/7 day gym is not opened yet? Won’t wait too long. There is quite a gathering developing outside. # Someone showed up to open the 24 hour gym, so I had my cardio fix. Now for a day of study. # Just sng happy 30th to Mindy. Let the partying (I mean fellowship) begin! http://yfrog.com/0clbmj # RT @albertmohler: – it’s Katie again, thought you should have evidence of Dad’s shorts this time: http://yfrog.com/0kfmtjj RATED PG-13. # Great time with the Martin clan celebrating @mindymartin’s 30th. Brie was singing happy b-day to Mindy all the way home. # Final prep for the day-music this morning-talking about Christianity, moralism, Politics, and the Great Commission tonight-fitpchurch.com # Off to worship-really looking forward to the day. # Headed to Fellowship In the Pass Church to speak with Ralph Drollinger on Christians in Politics. I’m dealing with the subject of moralism. # Eating with Pastor Stacy and Bug Ralph Drollinger: http://yfrog.com/0g45dj # Had a great time at fitpchurch.org with Ralph Drollinger (@capmin) and @walterprice. Walter, thanks for the invitation-it was a real honor. # Going to the gym-much to work off from the weekend-I love Kel’s brownies. Need to get the blood pumping too-dragging a bit today. # Made it home from a day at the office-now to work on the new gate and play with the fam all at the same time. # Half of the gate done...
